Magicka 2 is the second part of an arcade magical action-RPG with 4-player co-op, a continuation of the story of the previous part in the lands of Midgard, as well as new spells and equipment. In the new chapter, players rise from the ruins of Aldreheim Castle to find Midgard virtually purged of wizards. Only a few remained alive after the War of Mages, and they either became mad or became incredibly hostile to all living things. In order to rid the world of evil again, four wizards and their guide Vlad will have to go through the dangers of Midgard armed with an updated version of the famous Magicka spell system. Players will once again take on the mantle of overly powerful and unexpectedly funny wizards across the fantasy genre!

Learn to cast in a new way!
• Like any all-powerful magician, you will be subject to thousands of spells. Experiment with them to crush evil and help your teammates in battle.
• Combine up to five elements at a time to work together or against your friends.
• Cooperative game with active friendly fire.
• All levels and game modes in Magicka 2 are supported for four players.

Players have access to a quick connection, checkpoints and other functionality.
• "Friendly fire" is always on: destroying enemies will be even more fun if you accidentally injure or kill one of your friends.
Overcome insurmountable trials in Challenge Mode
• Be the witch you´ve always wanted to be. A huge variety of robes, magical staves and other weapons will allow you to create a magician to your liking to wreak havoc among hordes of fantastical creatures. Experiment with Magicka 2´s dynamic spell system and find the right spell just for you. Add to all of the above the possibility of cooperative play and the included "fire on friendly" and you have a recipe for catastrophic fun.

Replay the next chapter with "artifacts"
• Magicka 2 players has an exciting storyline and a colorful fantasy world inspired by Scandinavian folklore. New to the gameplay are "Artifacts" that allow players to customize and change the rules of the game to make it more fun to replay.
